Weber Smokey Mountain (WSM) Alternatives? - THE BBQ …
2020年7月31日 · Depends on the budget in the end and your goals. I was kind of where you are just recently. I've been using 4 WSM's for awhile and hit the point that I can't keep up with demand from just friends so I went with a Cascade Smokers Competitor (still being built) to test the waters of a larger cabinet smoker.
Mods to Make Weber Smokey Mountain Easier to Use
2011年7月22日 · I've had a 22" Weber Smokey Mountain for over a decade and that was my go to smoker. I've recently gotten into using my 22" Kettle Premium for smoking butts This is significantly easier to use than the WSM. In fact, it's the Kettle Premium is so much easier to setup and to clean up for me that I'm not using my WSM anymore.
Weber Grill vs. Smoker - THE BBQ BRETHREN FORUMS
2014年4月16日 · I would highly recommend the Weber kettle in your situation, either the 22.5 or 26.75 OTG. If you have a place for it and can spring for the extra cash, the size of the 26.75 OGT is certainly worth it; I routinely build a perimeter snake and can smoke anywhere from 250* to +325* for up to 6-8 hours without refueling with plenty of room for a big brisket, a 17-20 pound turkey, a few racks of ...

2014年11月6日 · I see folks slamming the water pan in the Weber smokers say run dry or run with sand, now the SNS has a water tank and that's supposed to be the cats meow? I run 1 pan of water they let it run dry, I feel that keeping the meat moist at the start might help smoke stick a little better, I don't use water when I smoke on the kettle though.

Weber 'Lid' on a UDS? | THE BBQ BRETHREN FORUMS
2012年8月20日 · On all my drum smokers, I've cut the top 2 inches of the kettle bottom, trimmed off the handles, and used high temp RTV silicone compound to attach the rim to the top of the drum. Because the rim is only supporting a 3# Weber lid, …
First smoker: WSM or OK Joe's Bronco? - THE BBQ BRETHREN …
2020年3月3日 · The spring-like weather here in St. Louis has me thinking about being outside again. So of course I’m thinking about BBQing. I’m fairly new to real BBQing, and so far I only have my Weber Kettle. But I’m looking at smokers, trying to decide between an 18.5” WSM and an Oklahoma Joe’s Bronco. Everyone and their brother has a WSM.
My WSM vs PBC head-to-head review! - THE BBQ BRETHREN …
2014年1月28日 · The WSM is typical Weber quality and the warranty is one of the best in the business. While I expect both to last a long time, I don't expect the PBC to outlive the WSM. I wouldn't have any reservation on buying either one for my lifelong smoker/cooker, but if I had to pick the one that could be handed down to my infant son in 25 years, my ...
Weber Summit charcoal grill | THE BBQ BRETHREN FORUMS
2016年7月29日 · If you want to grill and smoke then it would be a good option. However, it would not be my choice for just smoking. If it is just 2 people then a Humphrey's Weekender at $1,000 would be a cheaper and better option. Even a Weber Smokey Mountain or a Pit Barrel Smoker would be great smokers as well.
