2023年4月23日 · Myrrh is strong and, by itself, pretty awful smelling. One of its uses was to hide the smell of dead bodies, so that should be unsurprising. The mix should be about 75% frankincense and 25% myrrh... maybe even less myrrh. At that ratio the harshness of the myrrh doesn't overpower the pine/floral of that frankincense but balances it.

I have tried the sticks from Pure incense and I surprisingly did not like theirs despite loving every other incense I've purchased from them.

2019年10月9日 · Mixing the myrrh with the beeswax is simple enough, as is using gold leaf on the candle surface. However, I was wondering whether there would be any way to use frankincense resin within the candle to burn and release its scent as the candle burns. I dont have a great deal of experience in this area so would much appreciate advice and cautions.
