2.1 Global Wind Organisation (GWO) maintains the website globalwindsafety.org and specifically the WINDA database (the Site) as a service to those who may choose to be trained in, offer training in the GWO Safety Training Standards (“Users”) or provide auditing services to GWO Certified Training Providers.

WINDA helps employers verify the certification status of GWO certified training providers and the training status of participants who have attended GWO certified training courses. WINDA operates with five user profiles: Training providers are able to upload records of participants and use WINDA to complement existing site management systems

Join GWO at one of our online and in person events. To an employer, WINDA has one primary function, which is to look up and verify training records of employees and contracted wind technicians. To be able to verify the status of an individual's training an employer must first create a profile in WINDA.

What is WINDA? WINDA is the Wind Turbine Industry Database. When you have passed a GWO training, your record will be uploaded in this WINDA database. Hereby, yourself, your company, the company who hire you etc. can search on your personally WINDA ID And find the valid GWO certifications you hold.

WINDA is the Global Wind Organisations' database for training records. It is a global database where all records of GWO certified training that have been performed by a GWO certified Training Provider are uploaded.

WINDA is the Global Wind Industry Training Records Database designed with the primary purpose of verifying the certification status of GWO Certified Training Providers and the training status of Course Participants who have attended GWO certified training courses.
