If you’re hoping to catch some of Wirral’s incredible sunsets, the west coast beaches are a real favourite with photographers and visitors.

2024年6月21日 · As a local, here is my guide to the best beaches in Wirral. The Wirral’s gorgeous sandy beaches are great for a day out with the family or a more peaceful wander. The sunsets are incredible and some of the best in the country, making it an ideal place for photographers to visit.

This sandy beach, with views across Liverpool Bay, is part of the North Wirral Coastal Park, a four-mile stretch of coast, with sand dunes and nature reserves. Adjacent to the beach is a pitch and putt course and the Derby Pool family public house.

All of the beaches have something different to offer and are all worth a visit, here are our top five beaches on the Wirral. West Kirby Beach

Thurstaston Beach sits on the sandy shoreline of the Dee Estuary looking out over the water to Wales and the Clwydian Hills. Sitting at the foot of clay cliffs this sand and shingle beach is wonderfully unspoilt. The beach is also dog friendly. Swimming at Thurstaston is not recommended, in fact there are signs up to warn against it.
