2022年3月7日 · The Wooj 3D printed lamp is sustainable, waste-free, functional, and minimalist home decor that begs for compliments and is made to last. About two years ago, I came upon Brooklyn-based brand Wooj, a purveyor of 3D printed home goods.

The Pleat Lamp is the result of a blend of methodical programming and cheerfully flippant serendipity—exposing Wooj’s computationally derived designs to physical chance and happy accident—to yield a result which feels at once refined and whimsical.

The Arcas Lamp is constructed using a custom-written 3D printing technique. This technique imbues the shade with the properties of woven textiles, capturing the fluid form of fabric in a solid state — suspending it in a way that seems to defy physical limitations.

A robot made your lamp. Sustainable materials, zero factories—that's Wooj's philosophy. Using recycled corn-based plastic, they build The Wavy Lamp in small batches at their Brooklyn studio with the help of robotics, resulting in distinctive, modern lighting in your choice of height.
