2023年12月12日 · Now that new settings have been added, I tried enabling: WPD Devices: Deny read access, WPD Devices: Deny read access (User), WPD Devices: Deny write access, and WPD Devices: Deny write access (User) to be safe, even though I am running this control based off of devices. I have tried turning off the setting for user and that did not help either.

2024年10月7日 · What was tried: a policy was created under Attack Surface Reduction that enabled "WPD Devices: Deny read access" and "WPD Devices: Deny write access." To my understanding, this should deny read and write access for any removable disks/storage.

Reinstall the Microsoft WPD File System Volume Driver manually. a) Click Start. b) Go to Device Manager. c) Navigate to “Microsoft WPD File System Volume Driver”, right-click on it and choose “Uninstall”.
