The Commander X16 Developer Edition was designed to fit in a low-profile Micro ATX computer case. It will fit in most any ATX case too, so you can use an old machine you have sitting around to house your Commander if desired. 2023年9月4日 · I bought this first generation X16 proto-board to learn how to program and having such simple hardware I think is perfect for me. As I was initially trained on hardware (my strength) and software now controls the world (my weakness), I'm hoping the Commander X16 is the 'bridge' to explore and build from my strengths to improve my weaknesses.

2021年4月15日 · The silver bag of the X16 is an anti-static bag, non-conductive, so it is safe to place the board on that. I bench test without putting all the RAM in, just connect VGA and keyboard (and the ATX power) to make sure the system boots all ok.
