2021年4月30日 · Involving the X32 with X-Dante? If so you can eliminate the router and have a direct path for X32-Edit. At least Dante and X32 Edit won't need a router. I'm not using a Mac at the moment but X32-Edit is blistering fast used that way. I may miss the usage scenario. Gigabit Dante ready switches would be sweet but I'm guessing not entirely neccessary.

2024年11月9日 · In reality, the X32 (including the full console, Compact, Producer and Rack) can control 38 physical inputs (not including the USB player) at any one time. I use the X32-Edit with my X32 Rack along with Mixing Station on my tablet for most of my booked events and have been doing this way since 2014.

2024年5月16日 · Using X32-Edit (connected to the X32 Rack via ethernet or wifi), you can use the computer keyboard to control various aspects of the console. The keyboard shortcuts can be configured on the Setup, GUI Preferences and click on the Keyboard Shortcuts.

2025年2月7日 · Welcome to our forum. That is correct. The X32 is now over 12 years old and uses the older USB 2.0 technology, which doesn't work well with the newer USB 3.x. If you have an issue with recording large track counts, you may want to consider upgrading to a Wing. They now have a full size, a compact and a rack version available.

2025年2月4日 · Tonite I downloaded your updated X32 emulator to test OSC scripts being sent from an Arduino. I had used it a few years ago and when I tried to start it again today M32-Edit reported the firmware was out of date. So I went off to your website and noted the emulator was updated in 2024. Downloaded, installed and started testing my OSC scripts.

2024年9月11日 · I've noticed a pattern, after roughly 2-3 weeks, both X-Edit instances lose connection to the X32 Rack. Most of the time, I've had to power cycle the X32 Rack in order to reconnect, but tonight, just killing and restarting X-Edit was enough to allow it to reconnect. From a networking standpoint, the X32 Rack and the Mac are on the same VLAN.

2022年12月13日 · An X32 with channels 1-16 inputs from an S16 (via AES50 A), channel 5 gain is set to +28 db, +48V off (for a dynamic mic). At the end of the gig, standard shutdown is performed (amps, stagebox, then console). Before next gig, channel 5 is changed to a condenser mic and the scene is modified offline (with X32-Edit) to have gain at +17 db, +48V on.
