Jun 5, 2020 · So, I did some research on the dashboard problem and found out this has been happening to high end Grand Cherokees for years. Saw a lot of dissatisfaction about the problem, but also saw that FCA North America had replaced a number of these dashboards for people. In fact, the had a recall X81 for model years 2011 through 2014.

Nov 5, 2020 · In October, 2020, I was told they expected the parts in December, 2020. In March, 2021, I was told the parts were due in on April 10, 2021 .In May, 2021, I was told the new date was 8/6/2021. Today, 8/24/21, I am told the new date is June, 2022. I called FCA customer care and they said this was not a recall, but an "X81 warranty extension."
