Parts alone could be $6000-$8,000 per engine. Keep in mind you would have to pull the drives, hoist out both engines & replace the inner & outer transom mounts!

2011年7月17日 · Just a couple quick questions about the Volvo XDP drives. I am familiar with the bellows issue and know Volvo is in their 3rd design generation. If I am looking at a boat with those drives, has the gen 3 version fixed the problem? Is there a way to tell what version has been installed? Should I just stay away from these all together? Thanks

2010年4月13日 · If I had a boat with the newer "improved" Volvo drives, I'd seriously consider changing over to a 280 or 290 drive, possibly a DuoProp. I've been running 200 series drives for a LONG time (1979 to current with a 9 year divorce induced hiatus in the middle) and a 100 series drive (1964 to 1980)...
