2023年10月27日 · A while back I noticed the left chanel cut out and traced the problem to the SNAIC connector on the streamer. Tinkering with cables seemed to fix it initially but then the problem was back. I switched to RCA cables instead of SNAIC but then the sound was not as good no matter which cables I tried (the streamer is connected to NAC 152 XS).

2022年2月3日 · Say you use a Hicap with a 202 or 282 and a 200: there is a Snaic 5 between the Hicap and 202/282, and a Snaic 4 between the Hicap and the 200. So two Snaics, no different to using a Hicap with a Nait XS or a Supernait, both of which are pre and power amp in a single box.

2024年10月1日 · This fantastic set includes a Naim Audio Supernait 3 with remote, ND5 XS 2 streamer, and a Flatcap XS power supply. Original power supply cables for all 3 units, SNAIC DIN connector x 1 for streamer to SN3, and SNAIC DIN connectors x 2 for power supply to SN3 are included. I have rated the set 8/10, but I don't see any visible wear.

2023年10月16日 · Being UPnP enabled, the ND5 XS 2 can stream files up to 32-bit/384kHz from any outboard NAS device or home computer, and it features Naim’s latest network card, which uses low-noise, low-voltage differential signalling to route the digital audio signal. The Naim app plays an integral part in the streamer’s functionality, which is a huge positive.

2021年5月16日 · I’d suspect a broken channel connection inside snaic or interconnect; the loose wire could be contacting the other channel, effectively ‘mono’ing the signal.
