Receive selectivity and sensitivity are awesome, and the user can receive anything from 108-999.995MHz. Of course, most frequencies will be analog, but you can certainly use C4FM within the amateur VHF/UHF bands. I found the receiver to be extremely quiet and receive audio more than adequate for comfortable listening.
