2022年9月4日 · Yi Ti obviously being based on Asian culture it would be interesting to see something akin to a hard fantasy version of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, which is very similar in terms of themes and political intrigue to ASOIAF. Though the problem would be making the world of Yi Ti feel distinct from Westeros while still trying to connect the two.
(Spoilers all) Why didn't the Valyrians invade Yi-Ti? : r/asoiaf - Reddit
2015年4月30日 · Problem is Yi-Ti is an enormously powerful empire, much like medieval China. It is infinitely stronger than any of the Seven Kingdoms. They could be brought to heel by a dragon and 5,000 men. Yi-Ti would require hundreds of dragons and 250,000 men. And if Valyria launches this kind of campaign chances are internal revolts would erupt at the ...

Yi Ti animated series (spoilers extended) : r/asoiaf - Reddit
2022年3月13日 · Yi Ti and all the other barely described places have the benefit of being able to start from scratch. I think I'd actually enjoy it if the showrunner starts from scratch and and doesn't lean into orientalist tropes. They can tie it neatly into Qarth for example.

[Spoilers Extended] Personal headcanons regarding Yi-Ti?
2023年5月30日 · Yi-Ti is obviously based on Chinese culture but that doesn't mean everything is the same like population, technology, military, etc, same way Westeros is bigger and stronger than medieval England or even all of medieval Europe. Yi-Ti could have far less wealth and power than China did comparatively.
Is it worthwhile to play in Yi Ti? : r/CK2GameOfthrones - Reddit
Yi Ti is pretty fractious, so you get civil wars like Westeros does. You have raiders from the grey wastes, the shadowmen, and Jhogos Nhai. The Others can invade, as can the Yellow Emporer. More adventurer invasions. Sometimes Leng gets the …
(Spoilers Extended) Yi Ti Timeline : r/asoiaf - Reddit
2023年8月10日 · I was looking at the timeline of Yi Ti, and I think there is a major issue with it. If there are 11 dynasties with the longest lasting 700 years, and 4 interregnums, the longest lasting 100 years, how can the Golden Empire go all the way back to the Long Night? The current math only puts it at about 2,000 BC to 3,000 BC.

Although I would argue Yi Ti seems more like India in geography than China, but there can never be an exact comparison. Basically what would be outside the Known World would be probably way less densely populated than what we are used to in Westeros(for example most of unexplored Sothoryos or Eastern Essos) or still host civilizations although ...
