2025年1月28日 · Current bike is a 2020 YZ450fx. I'm not concerned with budget. Terrain will be mainly desert trails and single track. Not much of a racer, mostly just recreational riding. I'll ride in an event or two a year for fun. My wife has a 2024 KTM 150 XC-W that I enjoy riding but it's really weak, obviously, when compared to my 450.

2018年6月7日 · The 2019 YZ450FX is an excellent open-terrain race bike and a very good tight-woods bike for an experienced rider. The power comes on abruptly. I added a "Throttle Tamer" which helped a lot in tight single track. 14:50 gearing tames it down nicely for trail riding.

2024年2月9日 · Hello everyone, I recently purchased a left over 2023 YZ450FX. This bike comes as a huge upgrade considering I’ve been on my 07 YZ250F for about 5-6 years so I’m absolutely loving the bike. The only issue I have encountered with the 450 is it tend to get hot really fast which I know is just the “nature of the beast”.

2021年10月1日 · The fuel pump being stuck on is an ecu issue. Replace the ecu. It may have some other electrical issue causing it to happen. My fuse would blow on my 2019 yz450fx, I would put a new fuse in it and the fuel pump wouldn't shut off. Replaced the ecu and it fixed the fuel pump problem. The fuse blowing and zapping the ecu was another issue.

2017年12月26日 · I have a 16 yz450fx and it has the same fuel line and injector top which is crap. But i fixed it and fixed it better than ktmhusky. The stock injector has a real tight as 90 degree bend on top of it, then 4 inches or so upstream towards the tank there is another tight as 90 bend.

2019年4月23日 · You described yourself as a novice rider. Novice rider and YZ450FX do not belong together. You would be better starting on YZ250FX. Will have plenty of power for someone 225 lbs. You might want to look at some of the two stroke offroad/enduro bikes. I would rather see you on a 2 stroke YZ250X before a YZ450FX.

2017年2月14日 · The FX stators output 160 watts at 5,000 RPM. (2016 YZ450FX Service manual, page 2-10) I'm not sure how much of that is available to power accessories like the fan and lights. Edited March 21, 2017 by MidlifeCrisisGuy

2024年10月4日 · my 2014 yz450f threw a rod and while the cases are apart, i could buy 2017 yz450fx gearset and other trans parts. I was being told it's not possible to swap, that the wr bottom end the fx uses is completley different. Now im finding info that it is possible. do we have a definitive answer on this...
