Od r. 1971 se jednalo o Z-37A se zdokonalenou protikorozní ochranou a upravenými žaluziemi motoru. Stroje odebíral především Agrolet, později Slov-Air. Dále byly vyváženy do NDR, BLR, MLR, Jugoslávie, Finska, Indie, V. Británie, PLR, Súdánu i jinam. Mimo zemědělské práce se využívaly i k vleku větroňů a příležitostně pro vyhlídkové lety.
