2025年1月23日 · My 1976 280z is a federal emissions 4 speed manual car, so my understanding is that it is supposed to have two temperature activated switches in the thermostat housing. The thermo-time switch for the cold start valve (present), and another switch (called something other than thermo-time?) that changes ignition advance as the coolant warms up.

Have a 1970 240Z and am replacing the steering rack boots, outer tie rod ends and a few other suspension parts (bushings etc.).
