2018年5月28日 · What’s your view / experience Touring on your Z900 . How many miles & extra weight of gear . I’m leaving in two weeks for a 1000 mile trip with around 60 Lbs of camping gear.

2023年6月20日 · Looking for a comfortable touring machine. I own a Z900 and love it so much, but over the weekend I thought I'd try my first 'tour' (2.5 hours) on the bike. It did not go well. Within about an hour my lower back and knees, which are already wrecked after a lifetime of weightlifting and general abuse, were aching like crazy.

2018年6月19日 · Just got back from a 5 day 1300mile trip around Ireland, Z did pretty well and was great on the twisty wild Atlantic coast road. The standard seat was pretty painful but I did have a Puig screen which helped with the wind battering but still suffered from a bit of pain in the lower neck. Great economy returning around 50 MPG.

My max trip was a relaxed 6 hours, (3 hours out with a stop for gas between, lunch, then another 3 hours back home with another stop for gas in the middle). If I ever plan for longer I would highly consider a windscreen.

2021年4月3日 · The total miles for the round trip was 2,374, in 5 days of actual riding, it was an awesome trip!!!! Full of adventure and a super comfortable ride. As of today 8/18/21, the bike has a total of 3,939 miles on the clock, that is in less than 3 months. My Vulcan S had 15,000 of miles when I traded it in, that was in 3 years.

2021年11月18日 · You can tour on a Z900 too. However, it wouldn't be as comfortable for a pillion and luggage mounting will be a challenge. People say on long distance touring, the wind blast of a naked bike can also be tiring. If you want an Inline4 and you really plan to do 5-6 day tours, versys 1000 should be a better option. Z900 is a more of a street bike.
