Now that could change in the interim, we do not know - but there are power delivery differences between 7, 8 and 9 series chipset so I believe it is plausible. 2014年3月27日 · H81 is a budget chipset. No RST, SRT. Only 2 DIMMs. No SLI/Xfire support. Only 2x Sata 6Gb/s ports. Q87/Q85/B85 are business chipsets. Q87 supports vPro, virutalization, and a laundry list of other instruction sets and special features like RST/SRT. Q85 supports just SIPP I think, and I think B85 supports none (or almost none) of that.

2006年10月4日 · FWIW I have a Z97 board and a 4790K. Installed chipset driver 10.0.22 and the only driver actually numbered 10.0.22 is the SMBus host controller. The rest of the Intel system devices are like you noted, they are all Microsoft drivers from 6/21/2006. How can a driver dated 6/21/2006 identify a chipset from years later?

But it also employs what ASRock calls Ultra M.2, which is a second slot tapping into a Haswell-based CPU's 16 lanes of third-gen PCIe, too. This slot isn't affected by the chipset.
