2007年2月18日 · i own a 1996 zr 580 efi. i have rebuilt the motor. took it for a drive and worked great. took it for a drive yesterday and worked good until it warmed up, then started bogging.had no power and would barely lug itself. idles great. if it sits for awile not running,then start it up to drive it works good for about fifteen minutes then acts up again.

2002年11月14日 · if you think that zr 580 is so fast, i would run my xlt against any zr 580, because i have never lost to one yet. GO TO RUSH LAKE SPEED RUNS AND RUN AGAINST MY 94 XLT IN THE STOCK 600 CLASS AND WE WILL SEE WHO LAUGHS LAST. :hallo1:

2008年7月23日 · We are talking a bunch of Red River riding, which is flat and fast, so they were running WOT quite a bit of the time. I had a 97 580 EFI since new. Excellent sled overall, and that sled hauls the mail. But it needed pistons every 1500 miles or so. The earlier 580 carb models could be clutched and jetted to hit 100 mph on the speedos pretty easily.

2001年11月21日 · Now I own a 00 Pantera 580, got about 1500 miles on it,no problems w/engine, rebuilt starter once! Also own 00 ZL 580 EFI esr, got 1300 miles on it,no egine problems but lousy starter bolts keep snapping off and rebuilt starter twice
