Posted 22 Jun 2010 1:34 pm ZT amp performance? Went to the reviews & could not tell whether the amp performed well or not with a standard guitar. Which of course relates to the core of the amp--it's designed specifically for standard guitar. Because of that, I'm a little leary of it performing well with a steel guitar!

2019年6月22日 · the ZT amps sound great for jazz guitar, but IMHO aren't great for anything else...I tried mine with lap steel and gypsy guitar...guitar was fine, lap steel was really treble and solid-state-sounding...I use mine (ZT lunchbox I got for half-price on eBay) for a monitor when I play lap steel or Weissenborn in the band...for that it is fine.

2014年6月14日 · One of my bandmates bought a ZT Lunchbox. He was lured by the light weight and claim of 200 watts. It was without doubt the worst sounding guitar amp I've ever heard. It looks like a space heater. The cabinet is cheap particle board painted silver. It may have been 200 watts by some measurement, but it wasn't loud.

This Zt lunchbox sounds amazing with my dustpan! It's sounds the best with that amp! I should add that I use the ext cabinet which is real cool because you can move the speakers around a get all kinds of dimensional sounds! Like face one cab 180 degrees from one another or stack em whatever . Anyways yes!
