ZK uses a unique icon system, assigning each unit class and chassis a specific map icon. You can see these icons when you zoom out enough. Needless to say, these icons can be rather confusing, even intimidating, to the new user. Fortunately, they're actually very simple, and this guide will explain them to you.

An alternative would be giving out fully custom icons to players above a specific ELO. Comparable to how the top 10 had trophies in zkl iirc (just that it wouldn't require additional icons next to the player).

2020年4月28日 · It would be super duper useful, when I've highlighted a bunch of units, to be able to see immediately which are my assaults, my skirmishers, my artillery etc. Much easier than memorising all the unit icons. While we'e at it, it would be nice to be able to have the map icons visible all the time *without* hiding the 3d models.
