One indicator is created and published from the results of the ZEW Financial Market Survey: The ZEW Indicator of Economic Sentiment is a leading indicator for the German economy similar to the ifo Index. The ZEW Indicator of Economic Sentiment for Germany jumped to 51.6 in March 2025, the highest level since February 2022, compared to 26 in the previous month and forecasts of 48.1.
