2018年4月1日 · If there is a chance that you meet the KV-1 ZiS-5, then load AP by default and only use APCBC for finishing shots. Also, avoid engaging it frontally, really. The side armour is still pretty thick, but it's easier to deal with a KV-1 that does not have its gun pointed at you.

I wouldn't skip the KV-1S, it's much faster than the other KV-1 tanks. It's a great flanker, people don't expect you to go the speed of a T-34 while having the protection of a heavy tank. The ZiS-5 is great, 100% don't skip that. Even thought I still don't have the ZiS-5 …

2022年6月3日 · Almost all the KV 1 tanks are really good. The KV 1 E/B are murder machines at their BR and in a down tier. The KV 1 zis 5 is the bane of the above KV 1, as you can kill them and they can hardly pen you. Because of overlapping armor bullshit and volumetric I had American 76mm and German short 88 bounce or not pen the turret.

It would help if you said what tanks you were using ofc, but in general: Front right side of the turret, aim at the flattest part of the dome to prevent bounces.

The Zis-2 is a medium anti-tank gun, basically a direct fire weapon with a penetration bonus. In real life the Zis-3 was a Divisional level field gun. Basically, the soviets had more artillery in their division and also diversified them.

2020年5月6日 · KV-1 zis used to be the most overpowered tank in the game, you have a great gun and great armor, just angle and keep on the move. A very good brawling tank as your weakspots (the turret cheeks and drivers port) are rather hard to hit.
