2023年7月27日 · Microgendx results / prescribed Zyvox So these are my test results from a couple of weeks ago (post many negative cultures) and I was prescribed Zyvox, which I’ve read is a last resort antibiotic and generally not prescribed for UTIs?

I was on 2nd line of drugs used to treat MDR TB that time - Bedaquilline, Clofazimine, Cycloserine, Moxifloxicin, Zyvox and B6. To name few of side effects were neuropathy which I have not recovered from 2 years post treatment, irregular heart rhythm, head aches, nausea, tendon pain, darkening of skin due to clofazimine, depression.

2020年5月13日 · Long story, short I got a ureaplasma infection for the 2nd time and my bf had his semen tested. It came up negative but his urologist sent Zyvox to his pharmacy. He tried calling back but the office was closed for the day. I googled Zyvox for ureaplasma and it a lot of articles say the bacteria has showed resistance to the antibiotic.

2023年11月13日 · Anyone have any tips for dealing with Zyvox’s intense nausea? Zofran helps in the tiniest way, but it’s nearly useless. Any suggestions at all would be highly appreciated. Never had much luck with the typical suggestions of ginger or licorice and whatnot.

2023年10月25日 · Apparently you need to avoid foods with tyramine in them when taking the zyvox which is found in lots of aged, pickled, fermented and smoked foods. So yogurt and the usual things to get probiotics in and avoid thrush are unfortunately out for me. Fingers crossed I don't get a second infection!

2014年12月14日 · In my recent hospital stay, I was placed on Vancomyacin IV. It didn't work very well. I am currently on Zyvox, but still have little energy and have headaches and chest/back pain. I have been on many antibiotics (levaquin, augmentin, etc) Most recently, augmetin didn't work. I had a 105 fever and was getting worse 3 days after taking it.
