2024年7月19日 · How to get to Zzyzx. Zzyzx is situated on the western edge of Mojave Desert National Preserve. From Interstate-15 take the exit for Zzyzx Road. Follow Zzyzx Road for four miles until you reach a parking lot. At the parking lot you’ll find information boards and a restroom.

Zzyzx Road. When you exit the freeway onto Zzyzx road, you will proceed south about 5 miles until you start to see the resort, located up against the massive salt flats. This road is paved for most of the way but does still have a small section that is dirt, so make sure to drive slow (I drove this in a Toyota Matrix with no problems).

It is not difficult to get to Zzyzx: you will have to follow the famous sign, which corresponds to Exit 239 on Interstate 15. Here are the coordinates. From here, you will need to travel about 4.35 miles on a mostly paved road, skirting the fascinating expanse of Soda Lake, very similar to the famous Badwater Basin in Death Valley.
