Fanny Campbell is one of the main 8 characters in Road 96. She is a police officer that is often in stark contrast with the other cops that appear in the player's journey, as she is more compassionate and willing to disobey orders if she feels it's the right thing to do. She is also the adoptive mother of Alex and is in love with John.

You can save them both if you want, but Fanny isn't grateful. Leave her and run. She works for Tyrak. Save the Teen and Fanny lives. Save Fanny, and the Teen dies.
