The Pars (Turkish for Anatolian leopard) is an amphibious armoured combat vehicle family with 4×4, 6×6 and 8×8 versions, produced by FNSS Defence Systems of Turkey. [5][6][7] The development of the PARS vehicles commenced in 2002, based on a design by US company GPV (General Purpose Vehicles), and in cooperation with GPV.

The PARS III 8x8 can overcome a 60% vertical and a 30% side slope, climb 0.7 meters-high obstacles and cross 2 meters-wide trenches. Thanks to its unique design with its powerpack location and optimal weight balance, the vehicle has an almost equal load on each axle.

The Pars ALPHA 8x8, is an infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) designed and manufactured by FNSS. [4] The vehicle is equipped with a diesel engine and can reach speeds up to 115 km/s, with an operational range of 800 km. [5] It can carry up to a total of 12 personnel, including the driver, gunner and the commander. [6]

The PARS 4x4 is designed to undertake special operational roles such as advanced surveillance, anti-tank and command and control. The PARS 4x4 has a power-to-weight ratio of 25 Hp/ton, a low silhouette and amphibious capabilities. The vehicle with its crew of 4 can operate in deep and fast flowing waters without any preliminary preparation.

2021年10月6日 · Developed by Turkish defence manufacturer FNSS, the PARS IV NG-WAV is an upgraded version of the PARS 8×8 wheeled armoured vehicle. The PARS family of vehicles has been in service with the Turkish armed forces since 2000. The vehicles subsequently went through upgrades based on the changing needs of the armed forces and warfare.

2025年2月25日 · Turkish defense manufacturer FNSS has been contracted to supply new generation PARS ALPHA armored vehicles for the Turkish Land Forces. A total of 25 vehicles will be delivered to the service’s mechanized units in both 6×6 and 8×8 configurations.
