In this example, the Memory report highlights that over the last 12 months there has been an increase in the number of times the iGuard has had to step in and automatically shut off the stove. This could be an indication that your loved one’s memory is deteriorating.

Gas Alerts – This alerts you that the iGuard has detected unburned gas possible due to a leak in the gas system. Emergency Button Pressed – Someone may be in distress and has pressed the Emergency button to shut off the stove.

To start cooking first press the “Start” button on the iGuardStove which opens our gas valve and allows you to light your stove.After 5 minutes of not seeing any motion it shuts off the stove. To resume cooking simply press the “Resume” button on the iGuardStove which opens our gas valve allowing you to relight the stove. It’s just that easy.

When you turn your stove knob on the iGuard senses the flow of power and wakes up and starts the timer and then begins looking for motion. Every time the motion sensor sees you move it keeps resetting the countdown timer back to its maximum so the will continue to cook as long as you are attentive.

The proximity sensor covers an area of about 8 – 10 feet in a cone shape. The further from the device you are, the wider the cone pattern. It is designed to keep users close to the stove where they can keep an eye on their cooking.
