2018年10月19日 · There were five known 1966 Ford 8 Track tapes produced. These were marked PC8S 183, 185, 186, 203, and 206. The PC8S 186 is marked "Stereo Demonstrator Tape", and PC8S 206 is marked "Thunderbird Demonstration Tape". These are short 4 minute tapes, intended for Salesmen's Showroom use only, and not intended to be given away as "Promotional Tapes".

Depending on who you talk to, 8 track tapes can range in value from worthless to legitimate collector’s items many of which are worth roughly the same as vinyl records. It’s my opinion that they’re worth at least a buck a song on average.

2022年1月16日 · Repair photo of the 1966 Ford Stereo Demonstrator tape PC8S-186 that was used in the dealer showroom marketing campaign. The clothespin halves were used to carefully separate the cartridge.

These were marked pc8s 183, 185, 186, 203, and 206. While the 1966 and 1967 boxes appear to be same, pc8s number of appropriate tape was printed on each box. These tapes have only been played twice once by the professional who restored them, and me after receiving them.
