International Journal of Project Management is published in collaboration with the Association for Project Management (APM) and the International Project Management Association (IPMA). [ 7 ] It received its Royal Charter on 6 January 2017.

A royal charter is a formal grant issued by a monarch under royal prerogative as letters patent.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II granted APM chartered status in 2017. We are therefore incorporated by Royal Charter. The Charter is our constitution and sets out our high-level governance.
