Watch in amazement as this stately old male giraffe stretches to the absolute limit to reach some juicy leaves on a sausage tree (kigelia africana) using a combination of his long, purple, prehensile tongue and outstretched lips. 🦒 This old fellow was taller-than-most, meaning that the leaves he is only just able to coax into his mouth are surely out of reach for any other animal.
