"Blitzkrieg Bop", titled "The Blitzkrieg Bop!!" on its single release, is a song by American punk rock band Ramones (@Ramones), released as the opening track and their lead single in the United States on the band's debut album, ‘Ramones’ (1976). The song was primarily written by drummer Tommy Ramone (music and lyrics) and bassist Dee Dee Ramone (lyrics). The song's "big dumb chant" ("Hey! Ho! Let's go!") rallying cry is still regularly heard at sporting and live music events around the world.
