Your first time doing a choreo will not be perfect ‼️ Real talk: lower your expectations. I tell all of my students this - when you’re learning a choreo for the first time, it will be rough and not the way you want it to look. This goes for me, as an instructor, as well. Even when I choreograph my own routines, they don’t turn out the way I want them to right away. It takes multiple run throughs. But every time you run it through, it gets at least 1% better.
