How to bake sourdough in a Dutch oven. This is by far the best way to start out making sourdough. Dutch ovens are fairly cheap, a decent one is $30 and will last you a lifetime. I have been spoiled since purchasing my Simply Bread Oven and I can absolutely see the difference between this method and my deck oven. But everyone starts somewhere! Bake and convection are different, if you have an option to turn the convection off, you should do that when baking bread. The fan helps to circulate heat
