The most favored approach to applying wood veneer to a substrate is a vacuum bag or a veneer press - either hot or cold. When those options aren’t available, then contact cement or pva glue with adequate point pressure is the preferred method that we recommend. Our plywood press is an essential piece of equipment in manufacturing our plywood panels. The process entails laminating the veneer face to the substrate. A proper glue line and spread are critical to achieve a solid bond.
