Yesterday's weather for the Paihia Matariki celebration was cold, but many people still showed up. From 4 PM, there were fun games for kids and adults, and food stalls with delicious treats. The fireworks started at 7 PM, lighting up the sky. The big bonfire was a lifesaver because I was still cold even with three layers of warm clothing. Despite the chilly weather, the community spirit was fantastic, and everyone had a great time celebrating together. @highlight #carolinocenciosmart #carolsmart
