Please understand that I’m not saying we shouldn’t care about honeybees (Apis mellifera) in North America, just that maybe we should take some of that energy and apply it to some of our native pollinators. I only bring this up because “I saw a bee on it” is such a common argument for why invasive plants are okay and this completely misses the point of the danger and damage caused by invasive plants.
