I have a special ‘recipe’ to make polymer clay food and it starts with Sculpey Soufflé clay in Buttercream. It’s an off-white colour which doesn’t have the stark brightness of pure white and the texture is soft and airy making it perfect for light cakes such as the French Canelé. Painting took almost 2 hours as you can see each canelé is individually painted 6 times!
