What do you call this fruit where you’re from? 🤎 It goes by a thousand different names, such as sapodilla, nispero, chico sapote, and brown sugar fruit to name a few. Sapodilla may look like a potato on the outside, but when ripe, they are sweet like brown sugar! 🤤 My favorite way to eat them is on their own, but they also make a great sweetener. 🥞 This fruit is native to Southern Mexico, Central America, and the Caribbean. 🌎 Our sapodillas are grown in South Florida. 🌳 ➡️ miamifruit.org 🌈
