Moon bear Dawn was one of the most broken bears Animals Asia had ever seen in our two decades of rescuing bears. She was so traumatised and shut down after 20 years trapped in a cage on a bile farm, we feared we wouldn’t be able to help her. But slowly, she started to let us in. And today, she happily lives with her friends at Animals Asia’s sanctuary in Tam Dao, Vietnam.
