HARVESTING CALENDULA 🌼 I mainly use healing calendula flowers in skincare recipes, first infusing them in a carrier oil and then using the oil to make creams, soap, salves, and other recipes. That process begins here with harvesting homegrown calendula flowers. These are a medicinal variety called 'Resina.' I sowed them in this Birdie bed about six weeks ago, and this is the first harvest of many throughout the summer! When picking, I make sure that the flowers are dry and in good condition. I
