Are you neglecting these muscles? The serratus anterior are often the serratus muscles that get all the attention because 1) you can actually see them and 2) they are an important muscle for shoulder function. They also help with breathing when the shoulder blade is not moving.. However, I would argue that the serratus posterior (inferior and superior) are also very important. These two muscle are often “tight” on people when they first learn to do something like a Thoracic CAR (we posted that a
