Almost 95 years ago, the first traffic traveled across Navajo Bridge, a bridge that spans Marble Canyon in northern Arizona. First known as the Grand Canyon Bridge, construction began in 1927. And it was a big challenge to build. But, everything was finished in January 1929. The bridge carried motorists 467 feet above the Colorado River.
