Working on overhead squat triples tonight and failed my last rep on the last set at 220, but inadvertently set a new 2 rep PR! Turns out this “constantly varied, functional movements, at high intensity” thing just keeps working. The only thing I’m starting to question about the models of fitness laid out in the @crossfittraining Level 1 manual is the health model, i.e., sustained fitness over a lifetime, because it shows a slow decline as age increases.
