Often when we are helping kids with anxious thoughts we might teach them to reframe their thinking. If you have an anxious thought can you replace that with another thought. When people have OCD they can have compulsions where they have to replace bad thoughts with good thoughts. It can be a slippery slope when we are using anxiety approaches with someone with OCD.
