Very quick tip to help identify Sapphire vs Tanzanite 💎 . . . Looking from the back of the stone check for angular banding. Not curved banding ( that’s an indication of a synthetic)! Most commercial sapphires I come across have angular banding that can be seen from the back of the stone.
