Postpartum Heart Failure Part 2 I am beyond thankful my doctor recognized my symptoms and tested my BNP. It was elevated, indicating my heart was under stress, it wasn’t functioning the way it should. I was advised to go to the ER immediately. I was terrified and didn’t want to leave my, not even 2 week old baby. Covid restrictions were in place and my OB thought it was best to put me on a regular floor instead of the OB floor. I wasn’t postpartum enough (9 days) to be on the OB floor anymore. S
