#OnThisDay in 1969, CCR performed on American Bandstand for the first time. The band played "Commotion" to start off and then followed it up with "Proud Mary" and "Cross-Tie Walker." Later on in the broadcast, they would also perform "Green River." Creedence Clearwater Revival would go on to perform on American Bandstand in 1970 and 1971, with their last performance taking place in 1972.
