At the end of the day this is martial arts and respect is at its core. I am nothing without my opponent, nothing without my team, nothing without my supporters. People just see the surface layer of fighting and presume we are almost inhuman. We have family’s, duties, bills, fears and insecurities like the next person. We’re not much different.
