Here's the full process⤵️ 1. Strip or sand down to bare wood 2. Finish sand the surface using at least 120 and 220 grit. It's important to not skip to many grit between transitions. 3. Brush on a paintwash and wipe back well in the direction of the grain making sure there are no streaks. This will lighten a great deal once dry.
